This download through his bandcamp includes the eleven songs from the physical release as well as 6 additional unreleased songs.

"All the songs were written on my ships's piano. 'Ship's Piano' is a collequial term given to small-scale pianos that were used on boats. Mine was built in France in 1933 and folds away to resemble a sideboard. I wrote a song where I imagine its history. It's called 'The Ship's Piano'."

The Brentwood, Essex-born English singer-songwriter, Darren Hayman is best known as the lead singer and guitarist in Hefner. Since the band split in 2002, Hayman has embarked on a solo career and has released five albums, three of which were with his band Darren Hayman & the Secondary Modern. Also an East London country /bluegrass band Hayman, Watkins, Trout and Lee features Hayman and David Tattersall from the Wave Pictures.

And Hefner's latest art project VOSTOK 5, is a group of five musician/artists for the exhibition about people and animals in space, from the lonely deaths of canine pioneers to cold warriors in inflatable suits. "Vostok 5" digital album includes 4 demos on its bandcamp.
