SUPERCUTE! is a teen indie bubblegum trio from Brooklyn, NY, comprised of Rachel Trachtenburg (of the The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players), Julia Cumming, and Olivia Ferrer. They've been working on the first full album, with Kate Nash producing. Recently they did the opening set at "Still Better Than The Beatles - A Tribute to The Shaggs" at The Bell House, Brooklyn, April 13, 2012.
The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players are the indie-vaudeville-conceptual-art-rock-slideshow band from Brooklyn, NY. The band's members are the Trachtenburg family father, Jason Trachtenburg, who plays guitar and piano and sings; the mother, Tina Piña, who runs the slide projector and is a backup... singer; and the daughter, Rachel, who plays the drums and sings, and she formed her own band in 2009 called Supercute! (formerly called The Oh My God Girls). Their latest album "Lost And Found" (Tummy Touch Records, 2011) is available, HERE.
