Tomutonttu - Lautta lähtee

One of the most recognized Finnish experimental music makers, Jan Anderzen is a Tampere based artist who rearranges images and sounds and makes the music of Tomutonttu audible. He is also known as the leader of the band Kemialliset Ystävät.  'Lautta lähtee' is a new song, and ELÄVÄNÄ PLANEETALLA 12" is due out on Matt Mondanile's "New Images" label soon with DUCKTAILS' "KILLING THE VIBE" 12".

'Ystävälliset Miekat' is taken from Kemialliset Ystävät's (Finnish for "Chemical Friends"/ケミアリセット・イスタヴァト) latest album "Ullakkopalo" out now on Fonal Records.  Kemialliset Ystävät consists of a Finnish wizard of surrealistic collage of sounds, Jan Anderzén. Digital download single 'Kivikasan rauhassa' adding 2 previously unreleased non album tracks, is also available now.

His recordings have included such diverse instruments as detuned guitars, mandolins, balalaikas, toys, hand percussion, and samples from recordings by Sun Ra, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Vibracathedral Orchestra.  (wiki)
