'Slip Away' is taken from The New Pornographers, Kathryn Calder's upcoming debut solo album "Are You My Mother?" out on August 10th via File Under: Music. It was recorded at her childhood home in Victoria, BC and set up an impromptu recording studio her producer, Colin Stewart, with contributions from Neko Case, Kurt Dahle and Todd Fancey of The New Pornographers and members of Ladyhawk and Frog Eyes.
