The Living Sisters may be one of the most experienced "new" groups you've ever heard. Los Angeles-based singer/songwriters Inara George (The Bird and the Bee), Becky Stark (Lavender Diamond) and Eleni Mandell have cumulatively spent decades writing, recording and singing with their respective groups. Now, after years of seed-planting, the accomplished trio has finally recorded their Vanguard debut album, Love to Live as The Living Sisters. Produced by the girls themselves with co-production by Sheldon Gomberg, Love to Live will be available on March 30th.

With this self-titled debut, The Living Sisters embrace their mutual love of country, soul, gospel, jazz and other traditional styles of music. Gorgeous harmonies highlight poetically charged lyrics and sing-along choruses backed by retro pop instrumentation.

Love to Live is just the latest in a string of accomplishments for the vocalists. Eleni Mandell's sultry voice has been a L.A. staple since her 1999 debut album Wishbone, with her latest, Artificial Fire, receiving widespread critical acclaim. As the front woman of Lavender Diamond, Becky Stark's mix of pop and chamber music has been described as "effortless, timeless-sounding songs."
